Show Me the Money (& the Admission!) (Grades: 9-11)
with Emily Holloway-Costa
Are you not sure what to say in writing to admissions for the schools you have been thinking--and yes, possibly dreaming!--about? Is the cost of college giving you and your family sticker shock? Fear not! Show Me the Money (and the Admission!) is a weeklong intensive course with a major goal: to bring your voice, stories, and identity into focus as you apply for schools and scholarships. You will exit this course with at least one complete college application essay (and however many others you need! this is just the start!); the experience of having applied for at least five scholarships, several with essays included; and a portfolio created over the week to help you build your essays and applications on.
