An Exploration into Español (Grades: 2-4)
with Emily Cullinan Smith

Students choosing An Exploration into Español will be introduced to several common Spanish vocabulary terms and phrases. The group will practice their newly acquired linguistic terms with engaging activities and games. Alongside the language component, students will be exposed to several features of Spanish culture from around the world.

Social Skills through Media (Grades: K- 3)
with Kristin Dunnigan

The ‘Social Skills through Media’ intersession will give students an opportunity to hear from a special story and then apply the skills learned in their everyday lives! Each day, we will explore a different social skill or two based on a book or film! Some of the skills we will work on include kindness + friendship, emotion regulation, growth mindset, self-esteem, and more!

Cake Decorating (Grades: 9-11)
with Karen Wilson

This course is an introduction to the basic art of frosting and decorating a cake. Topics include familiarization with cake decorating tools, bags, tips and an exploration into different styles of cakes. Students will practice basic border techniques and decorative piping.
*This course has an anticipated field trip. Details will be provided closer to the start of June Intersessions.
